The project does not publish fixed minimum operating-system versions in these docs. Check the current store listing, download metadata, installer, and system prompts for compatibility.

General Steps

  1. Select a current package on the download page.
  2. Confirm that the platform, architecture, source domain, and publisher are what you expect.
  3. Install through the store or normal operating-system installer.
  4. Open AI Booster and review any permission request before approving it.
  5. Import a profile you trust, then review the current app controls before connecting.

Do not bypass operating-system security warnings or install packages from an unlisted mirror. Stop and verify the source if publisher or signature information is unexpected.

After Installing: Your First Connection

Installing the app is only half of it — a client with no profile cannot connect to anything.

  1. Obtain a profile from a provider you trust. The app does not come with endpoints. A profile is normally a subscription URL, a configuration file, or a QR code issued by whoever operates the endpoints.
  2. Import it using the controls in your installed version, then confirm the profile appears and shows entries.
  3. Connect. The first connection asks for a system VPN permission. Approve it only when the request comes from the operating system and you understand it.
  4. Verify it is actually in use — see below. A connected indicator alone does not prove your traffic is going through the tunnel.

Verify the tunnel is really carrying your traffic

This one check prevents most false problem reports:

  1. With the tunnel off, open any page that reports your public IP address and note it.
  2. Connect, then reload that page.
  3. The address should change. If it does not, traffic is bypassing the tunnel — a proxy configured on the network is the most common reason.

Choosing an endpoint

Most profiles offer both individual endpoints and automatic groups. Which group type a profile uses affects reliability more than most settings do, and the latency figure shown is a round-trip time rather than a bandwidth measurement — see node selection before concluding that an endpoint is slow.
