AniSoul

AniSoul is a real-time 3D anime companion. The character is rendered live on your device and reacts as you talk to her — she is animated continuously, not a still image with text attached. Her language model, her voice and her lip-sync run on the device too, so your conversations stay on it.

AniSoul or RealSoul?

The two apps are built around the same idea and offer the same kinds of interaction. The difference is the art direction:

Pick by which look you want. If you are unsure, start with either — they are separate apps and separate downloads, so trying one does not commit you to it.

Getting AniSoul

AniSoul is published on the App Store and on Google Play.

The App Store and Google Play listings are authoritative for device compatibility and regional availability.

AniSoul is free to use every day, with a daily message allowance: 30 messages a day at the time of writing. AniSoul Unlimited, an optional subscription, removes the daily limit and changes nothing else. Free Messages, Subscriptions and Restoring Purchases covers prices, renewal and cancelling.

Getting started

1. Install from the App Store or Google Play and open the app while you are on Wi-Fi.
2. Let her model arrive. On first launch her AI model installs in the background. It happens once, and she can talk with you right away while it finishes. There is no account to create.
3. Talk or type. Speak naturally and she listens, replies in her own voice, and lip-syncs while speaking. Voice is full duplex: start talking mid-sentence and she stops to listen. Typing works too if you would rather not use voice.
4. Set the scene. Give her a persona and mood; she stays in character with you.
5. Style her. Change hairstyles and colours, outfits, her voice and the backdrop.

The first time you use voice, iOS asks for two permissions: the microphone, and speech recognition (AniSoul uses Apple's on-device recogniser). Approve them from the system prompt only. If you decline, you can still use the app by typing.

What to expect from your device

This is continuous real-time 3D rendering, not a video or a static portrait, with a language model running on the same device. That has practical consequences worth knowing before you judge the app:

• It uses real GPU work. Sustained use warms the device and drains battery faster than a chat app does. This is expected, not a defect.
• Older devices work harder. On a device near the minimum requirement, expect lower frame rates, especially during long sessions once the device warms up.
• Background rules apply. iOS suspends apps in the background; a session resumes rather than continuing to run while you are elsewhere.

If rendering becomes choppy during a long session, letting the device cool usually restores it. Closing other demanding apps helps too.

What stays on your device

Her language model, her synthesised voice and her lip-sync run on your device, and speech recognition uses Apple's on-device recogniser. Your conversations, your microphone audio, your prompts and her memories never leave the device, and no third-party cloud AI is involved. Once her model is in place, a whole conversation works in Airplane Mode.

The app sends only three things, all to our own servers:

None of it is sold or used for advertising or cross-app tracking. The details are in the privacy policy.

The other side of keeping everything on the device: there is no account and no copy on our servers. If you delete the app or move to a new phone, your conversations and her memories do not come with you. Restore Purchases in the app brings back a subscription, through your Apple Account; it does not bring back memories.
