RealSoul is a real-time 3D companion rendered in a photorealistic style — lifelike skin, hair and expressions, animated live on your device and responding as you talk.

RealSoul or AniSoul?

The two apps are built around the same idea and offer the same kinds of interaction. The difference is the art direction:

Pick by which look you want. They are separate apps and separate downloads, so trying one does not commit you to it.

Getting RealSoul

RealSoul is published on the App Store.

Requires iOS 17.0 or later. The App Store listing is authoritative for device compatibility and regional availability.

It is free to download and start using. Any paid options appear in the app; the purchase sheet at checkout controls the final price and what it includes.

Getting started

1. Install from the App Store and open the app.
2. Sign in. Your companion and your conversation history are tied to your account, so signing in is what carries them across sessions and devices.
3. Talk or type. Speak naturally and she listens, replies in an expressive voice, and lip-syncs while speaking. Typing works the same way if you would rather not use voice.
4. Set the scene. Give her a persona and mood; she stays in character with you.
5. Style her. Change hairstyles and colours, and build a wardrobe over time.

If you want to use voice, allow microphone access when iOS asks. Approve it from the system prompt only — and you can still use the app by typing if you decline.

What to expect from your device

Photorealistic real-time rendering is the most demanding thing either companion app does. Before judging performance, know what is normal:

• It uses real GPU work. Sustained use warms the device and drains battery faster than a chat app does. This is expected, not a defect.
• Realistic rendering costs more than stylised rendering. On the same device, expect RealSoul to work the hardware harder than an anime-styled companion does.
• Older devices work harder. Near the minimum requirement, expect lower frame rates, especially once the device warms up during a long session.
• Background rules apply. iOS suspends apps in the background; a session resumes rather than continuing to run while you are elsewhere.

If rendering becomes choppy during a long session, letting the device cool usually restores it. Closing other demanding apps helps too.

Your account and your data

Your companion and your conversations are tied to your account rather than to one device — that is what lets them persist and follow you.

Conversation with an AI companion means your messages are processed by services rather than staying entirely on the handset, even though the character itself is rendered locally. What is collected and how it is handled is described in the privacy policy; read it before sharing anything sensitive with a companion, in this or any similar app.
