AI Digital Human Studio — User Guide
How to get started with AI Digital Human Studio on Steam, talk to her, shape her look, teach her songs, use the shortcuts, and fix common problems.
AI Digital Human Studio
AI Digital Human Studio puts a lifelike digital human on your PC. You talk or type, and she answers out loud with real expressions and gestures. The language model, the speech recognition and her voice all run on your own computer. There is no account and no login, and nothing you say is uploaded.

A microphone is only needed for voice chat. Text chat works without one. The Steam page is authoritative for current requirements.
Getting started
- Install from Steam and start the game. There is nothing to sign up for.
- Wait for the first start. The first launch prepares her AI and voice, so it takes longer than later ones.
- Follow the quick tips. They point out the icons, the store, the chat box and the microphone. Click anywhere or press any key to move on.
- Say hello. Type in the chat box and press Enter, or click the microphone and just talk.
Talking to her
- Text: type in the chat box and press Enter.
- Voice: click the microphone and speak naturally. You can cut in while she is talking.
- Languages: she speaks English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and Russian. Write to her in any of them and she follows.
- Voice input: English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Cantonese work out of the box. Other languages are a free download in the in-game store.
- Expressions and moves: just ask, for example for a smile or a dance.
She also speaks first. Go quiet for a while and she asks what is on your mind. Step away and she welcomes you back.
The panels
The column of icons on the right side opens each panel. Click an icon to open it. Click it again, click ✕ or press Esc to close it.

Camera: drag to orbit around her and zoom to frame the shot. Close-ups use portrait-lens depth of field.
The in-game Store has more characters, outfits and extras.
Songs and dances
- Have her write a song: ask for a song about anything. She writes the lyrics and the music on your PC and performs it about five minutes later.
- Teach her a song: give her an audio file, or let her look in your music folder. She learns it and performs it with lip sync and lyrics on screen.
- Dance: ask her to dance. She performs full-body routines, and her hair and dress swing as she moves.

Privacy
Speech recognition, the language model and the voice all run locally. There is no login and nothing you say is uploaded. After the game and its models are installed, conversations work offline.
This game includes mature content intended for adult audiences, such as partial nudity and mild sexual themes. Steam shows the details on the store page.
Troubleshooting
The game closes or crashes while loading. This usually means the PC ran out of memory or video memory. Close other programs, especially browsers and other 3D applications, then start again. Check your PC against the minimum requirements above.
The game does not start after an update. In Steam, right-click the game, then choose Properties → Installed Files → Verify integrity of game files.
She answers slowly. Her replies are generated on your PC, so a faster processor and more video memory help. Press F8 to see what is busy, and close what you do not need. F9 switches her AI between the processor and the graphics card. Press it again if replies get slower.
The picture stutters. Press F10 to turn off cloth simulation, and close other programs that use the graphics card.
She does not hear you. Check that Windows allows the game to use your microphone and that the right microphone is the default input. You can always type instead.
